TYPE & TEXTURE
Type & Texture started as a self-published playground for editorial ideas. Stripping out color put the raw mix of halftone imagery and heavyweight type in the spotlight, then high contrast made every spread feel cinematic. Pages flip from tight columns to full-bleed swirls so rhythm grows from black ink alone. The zine also works as a process log; each layout tweaks scale, grid and paper texture to see how far a story can go without color. Printed in a short run and hand bound in-studio, it stands as a living reference for future editorial work.
